Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

Rain Rain Go AWAY

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY, and STAY AWAY!!! We definetly have had our fair share of rainy weather this week. Its been hot and humid throughout the day then nasty thunderstorms at night. Yesterday was different though, we had torrential down pours nearly all day. The stream that runs through Barre flooded last night, and parts of Rte 302 are gone!! I got a call from our principal last night wanting to use our camp vans to help with the evacuations, but didn't have to run up to school because at the last minute they found a bus that could do the run and get everyone out in one trip. Today everyone is in clean up mode. Main street is covered in a few inches of mud, and sludge - pretty nasty but passible. We are all dry here thank goodness!
Henry flies home today for a weekend trip home, so it will be just us for the weekend. Although no big plans around here except doing some projects around the house and catching up on paperwork for camp. blah!
