Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday. Ours was quite busy to say the least. The thursday before thanksgiving Patty and the boys (minus Brian) left Vermont and drove to Indiana.
We had a wonderful visit there with family and friends. On saturday they drove up to Wisconsin to visit with patty's mom for the day before then heading back down to chicago. The boys absolutely loved the Shedd Aquarium! Jake's highlight was finding nemo, and josh loved all the sharks and sting rays. Josh also especially loved seeing all the tall buildlings "that touched the sky" and even more all the subway stations and subway trains. Although he was bummed he didn't get a chance to ride on one.
While we were in Plymouth Josh and Jake helped "discover" a litter of kittens with Brian's dad in their barn. Josh immediately fell in love with them and properly named them all including changing george's name to george-gina since we figured out that one was a girl.
We are glad to be back home and in the snow. But its taking the boys a bit to get adjusted to our regular schedule. Ahhh gotta love traveling.
