New additons to our fish tank.....

After the boys sad response to the death of our mommy fish, and our swordtail that jake got for his birthday- we told them they could get a new fish. So today mommy took them to the pet store.

After learning that today was buy one get one free day- mommy let them get 2 fish each. Josh insisted on getting guppies (lucky for us they breed like rabbits!!!! -ugh). When we got home we found a suprise third fish in the bag, i don't think the salesperson realized she netted 3 versus two. So we now have two female guppies and one male- . Josh has named them rocky, heart and flower.

Jake picked out 2 molly fish. The tank was swarming with males and females. I told the sales person I didn't want a male nor did i want a pregnant female. She gave me the look of i'm going to get what ever she scoops out. Since they were all in the tank together 99.9% of the females in that tank were pregnant. So we have one male and one female (which looks like she will pop any day).

The boys were just showing their new fish off to daddy, and we noticed that the male fish was already getting "busy" with the other female molly we have in the tank upstairs- he doesn't waste much time now does he.

So who wants some baby fish???
