We've been spending nearly all of our time outside lately, as the weather allows. Josh's new favorite idea is to use sidewalk chalk to make a giant island of sodor (where thomas the train lives) and then bring out his plastic trains, and then he gets lost in his own little world- for hours at a time. He has such an imagination!
Yesterday the boys discovered a butterfly/ moth in the yard, and Josh was super excited that it landed on his hand. He told Jake very seriously- not to touch the wings, because butterflies have magic on their wings and that's what make them fly. Jake was super concerned and replied with ohhhhhhhhhhh, and didn't want to touch the butterfly.
After awhile of letting it crawl up and down his arm he decided to put it on Jake and let it crawl on Jake- after all it was nice to share
As you can see Jake was not IMPRESSED with the butterfly on him
Josh says come on Jake its not that bad- its just a butterfly - don't be silly!!
