Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

Saturday

Last night Josh and I went on a double date with his new friend Hayden and his mom Kelly. We went to the theater in town and saw te new disney movie wall-e. In my opinion, the movie wasn't as great as it was cracked up to be. Josh sat nicely through the whole movie but I could tell during parts that he was getting board (i caught him nearly falling asleep once).

Josh said it was a good movie and he wated to get the dvd when it comes out, so I guess that means he liked it.

This morning kelly and I went yard sale hopping. I got a few things for the baby, at pretty reasonable prices- so no complaints there. We were supposed to go to the parade in waterbury and then to the lake, but the weather has turned pretty gloomy and rain is on the way yet again, so Brian opted to stay home and take a nice long nap.

After lunch the boys suprised brian with a cake they made for his birthday and decorated it with sprinkles and candles, and then sang him the birthday song. It was super cute!

Well, better head off.... Josh and I are going to go grocery shopping while the boys nap! Have a great weekend!
