Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

Day in Groton....

We spent the day exploring the state forest in Groton today. Peyton and her mom came along for the adventure. After seeing a wild turkey along side of the road, and nearly running over a bunny (which josh won't let me forget) our first stop was to go raspberry picking ~ at my secret spot. Unfortunately the raspberries weren't ready yet- still have another week or two to go!

So we headed to the nature center then the beach. The weather today was chilly and drizzly so the kids maybe spent 30 minutes in the lake before coming out shivering and purple! They still had tons of energy so we headed over to Owl's Head Mtn. All of them were troopers as we trekked up the mtn and hung out at the top for awhile.

That did the trick because our ride home was nice and quiet!! Wish it was that way now. lol
