Yup!! Mommy got a 3 day mini vacation, no boys, no husband, no housework, just shopping!! My friend Steph and I met at a huge outlet mall in western pennsylvania for a girls weekend away. It was soo much fun and relaxing to be away for even a little while.
I left at the crack of dawn on friday morning and made a stop in massachusetts to visit with my friend cara who was in town visiting from washington. It was great to see her and Autumn again, unfortunately the visit was way tooo short!
The drive in either direction was long but uneventful. It is a whole new experience driving across country without hearing a random kids dvd playing in the backseat.
While I was gone Brian was on daddy duty. On Saturday the boys went over to Peyton's house to help clean up a tree that had fallen into their yard, and to bring the wood home for our stove. They then also went to another friend of ours house to pick up even more wood from their barn, that they are giving to us!
So now we have a huge pile of wood in our yard, and we are estimating that is only 1/3 of what we are going to need to get us through the winter. Oi.
