This afternoon both boys had their annual check ups. Josh announced he was going to be super brave and went first to show Jake how its done and that there was nothing to be afraid of. Eventhough Jake watched josh's every move- he still wanted nothing to do with the whole physical thing.
Both boys are healthy and growing like weeds. Josh is 3 foot 6.5" tall and 38 pounds. Jake measured in at 33.5" tall and 29 pounds.
Both boys had to get shots today :(. Josh was slated to get 5 shots (all his kindergarten boosters), but we decided that would be too much so he only got 3 this year, and will get the remaining 2 next year. He told the nurse he was going to be brave for them, but was shocked when he felt the first one, and quickly realized it was a good thing he was sitting in daddy's lap. Next was Jake's turn- he had to get 2 shots, and unfortunately knew what was coming after he watched Josh. So both boys were pretty traumatized after that. Even picking out a new book didn't help them. But by the time we got to the car and gave them their big brave boys m&m's they were all better.
On another note: Jake pooped in the potty again today!!!! (although this morning he had an accident on the floor- ugh) we are getting there I hope!

Awww I hate shots!!! Even harder with two because it's torture for one to watch the other get it knowing they're next! Poor things! Hope the potty-pooping keeps up!
I hope the pooping in the potty thing keeps up for you! Glad to hear he went later. Sorry about the shots and the doctor's visit. It's never fun!
ugh to the shots. Josh and Anna are about the same size! Growing too darn fast! Jake has really gotten big too!
