Eventhough the weather wasn't cooperating, we still had a lot of fun. On Sunday we ventured into north conway and explored the train depot (where we saw Thomas two years ago) and visited the Mt. Washington Weather Observatory museum. Both were big hits for the boys. Although if you ask them by far their most favorite activity was running and jumping in the GIANT puddles during the torrential down pour on Sunday night!
Lesson learned this weekend: You can never have enough tarps hung up around your campsite :)
The falls just below our campground- where we would of put in- this was during flood stage a few hours before the river crested!
Jake & Grandma Claire on top of the rock overlook that we hiked to on Sunday morning
The turn table and engines at the train depot
Sunday afternoon- need I say more
Two little drown monkeys having a blast in the puddles

All dry- relaxing in the tent before bed time

Playing with leap pad before bed

I just bought Maddy a leap pad. I think she could still be a tad too young for it. But she loves playing it with me.
What a yucky weekend....It looks like you guys made the best of it!
I love the picture of the boys in their rain gear!! Soo cute :)
Looks like you guys still had fun even if the weather didn't cooperate!!
