We definetly got lucky with the weather today. It was cool - temps barely reaching low 70s but the sun was out and there was a slight breeze. A huge change from the rain from yesterday's "tropical storm".

This afternoon we were invited up to a neighborhood pot luck at Sophie's house. The boys were pretty excited to see Sophie and Julia as they haven't hung out together in almost 2 months! We weren't even there for 5 minutes and they all returned to their fighting. UGH. Josh plays well with other kids, so i'm not sure why it is that he and sophie fight soo much.

I think I must be hanging out with Kelly too much lately, as part of her was rubbing off on me today. As we were eating our lunch I was listening to some coversations with some of the other parents that were there. 2 of the kids had foot and mouth disease the past 3 weeks, which if I remember correctly is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS!, and another one had just returned from the walk in clinic - as their child has an unknown infection on her hands. As i'm listening to this, I was looking over at the boys thinking omg GERMS- where is kelly's purell???!!!!! Granted I know kids get sick, yes my boys are not immune to that, their head colds last week was proof of that. BUT if your kid has some nasty contagious bug wouldn't you think you would keep them away from other people / kids. NASTY!!!!!

As soon as I got home, we immediately scrubbed the boys down with antibacterial soap and then topped it off with purell. Kelly are you proud? lmao. I think for the remainder of the afternoon im going to have the hee-bee-jee-bees. ewe.
