Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

How on earth????

Seriously stay away from the water here!!!! I went to clean the tank in the boys room this morning, when I lifted up the lil cave where our crayfish hides I was SHOCKED! I found one very very very PREGNANT crayfish.

Now here are some factors to consider when laughing at us!

1. We "assumed" this crayfish was a male.

2.At one point we did have two crayfish in this tank- that one was a female because she was pregnant- and we moved her out of the tank in may. (That is why we thought this one was a male. She died in June, as did all her babies.

3. Soooo this crayfish has been ALONE in the tank with no other crayfish since MAY.

Im hoping this eggs are dud's since they weren't fertilized - or else we are in trouble ha ha ha ha
