Emily had her first appointment with our pediatrician this morning, and did great! She is putting weight back on, back up to 8 pounds 1 ounce, and her jaundice levels are on the way down. We were very fortunate this time around as her levels never got all that high.
She is a super eater, and is eating every 3 hours during the day, and last night she blessed us with a whole 6 hours of sleep straight! She probably would of gone even longer, but mommy woke up and decided she needed to eat. Although we are pretty sure she never actually woke up during the whole feeding event.
The boys are doing great with her! Josh is being a super big brother, volunteering to help burp her, read her stories, and the best part isn't afraid to change poopy diapers! He has done two on his own so far, ROCK ON! Let's hope the coolness of being a helper in the diaper department doesn't wear off. We can definetly tell that Emily knows his voice, as she quiets right down when he is around talking to her.
Jake is also being a great helper. He loves to talk to her and sing to her. And when she cries he is the first to come over and tell her, don't cry its ok, your big brother is here. Its super cute.

Glad it's going well!!! That's good that Josh wants to be your helper, Joe didn't mind carrying stuff, fetching things... but he would NOT touch a diaper or burp Jayden. He was soo scared he'd get poop or breastmilk on him LOL! Hope the 6 hr sleeping continues!!
