Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

snowed in!

There is no mistaking winter is here. We have already gotten our fair share of snow, and its only December. Brian was already saying the other day that he is running out of places to put the snow. Last night he shoveled the roof off, but before he did that he took a yard stick out and measured 29" on the roof, then this morning we woke up to another 3-4", and there is more on the way.
Josh is loving the snow, he would spend all day out there if we let him. Jake on the other hand is a warm weather kid, and can stand about 10 minutes tops of the cold weather then its inside to warm up by the fire.
Brian finally got the car home tonight. It had been sitting at his office since Friday night. Our hill has been super slippery and snowy, that he couldn't make it up the hill. The snowy hill has provided some entertainement for though. THe boys really enjoy watching the cars and trucks try and try to make it up and continue to fail, and slip and slide back down. Today we had a car hit the bank at the bottom of our drive, which required a tow truck to get it out. The boys voted that the best so far!

Joe would spend all day outside, Jayden would prefer sitting at the window with the heater just watching lol. Our white is melting away, I'm sad!
