Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

4 months!

Well, not quite 4 months ~ officially she will be there on Thursday, so close enough. lol I took Emily in for her 4 month appointment yesterday, we changed it from next friday to yesterday because she still has a nasty cough, and I figured better get that checked out. Well i'm glad we did. Our pedi said that she has RSV which is a viral respiratory infection. Her lungs sounded pretty clear, but she defiently was wheezing pretty good, so he put her on a nebulizer which we have to give her 4 times a day, which she takes like a trooper!
She weighed in at 13 pound 12 ounces, and measures 25" long. She hasn't gained much since her 2 month appointment, but I think a lot of that is because her appetite has been down since becoming sick, and the fact that she has started teething. Both are rough on a lil girl! Our pedi said she is ready to start oatmeal, so once she shakes this cold we will dig out the high chair and start the big girl food :)
Emily is talking a lot more, and loves to laugh. She finds nearly everything funny and laughs the big belly laughs. She has started rolling over, although lately that hasn't happened much because she has discovered her toes and those by far are way more fun! We are still enjoying her sleeping all night, and hope that continues!!!
