Milestones

September proved to be a super fun month to have a 10 month old! Its amazing how fast Emily is changing every day right before our eyes! In one short month she reached so many fun and not so fun milestones!

Our little monkey decided to show us what an amazing climber she is, by scaling the outside edge of our stairwell repeatedly and hitting her head on the ceiling! In addition she now tries to climb everything including the couch, chairs, cabinets, anything she can dig her lil toes into to get a grip. We are considering a rope and climbing harness for her birthday lol.

After answering the question 10 gazillion times that no she doesn't have any teeth yet, her first two teeth FINALLY cut through. You forget how sharp those lil buggers are until that first chomp!

Pigtails- ok not a REAL milestone for the books ha ha ha. But her hair is now long enough that I can put them up in lil pigtails when she lets me. Her hair is getting so long in the back she is starting to sport quite the mullet. Her hair is starting to get a bit of a wave/curl to it, i'm hoping as it gets longer she will have lil ringlets. Soooo cute!

Talking, Talking, Talking..... before she would talk our ear off with baby babbles, but now those babbles are starting to turn into real words! Her vocabulary now includes: Jakey, Bubba (josh), MOM, dad, Papa, Cat, Doggy, Stop, noooooooo, Bub-Bye, Fishy, Done, THAT (this one we hear non-stop! she points to everything and says "that", its usually the same thing she points to over and over), and Night Night.

The final exciting milestone is walking! Our little butt scootcher is now a walker. You can tell when she takes off that toddling is not for her she would rather take off running so that she can catch up with her brothers. Im definetly not going to rush that one! Thank goodness its almost winter so most of my chasing will be short distances indoors!
