Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

Happy New Year!

So I totally bombed on keeping up with our adventures during the month of December. It was a busy month and I hardly had time to sit down and get this updated. I just put up 3 new posts, so I think that catches us up to date. My goal for 2010 is to update this page at least once a week. Maybe if I put it here in writing that will give me more gumption to do it.

We greeted 2010 with a snowstorm. We are super glad that we weren't just a few miles further north. The weatherman just reported that Burlington got 33" of snow and it is still falling! Here we probably got 6-8" but the storm isn't over yet. I think I heard him say we should probably get another 4 by the end of it all tomorrow afternoon.

Emily had a good follow up appointment with her pediatrician on the 31st. Her ears had a little bit of fluid in them but they were no longer infected, and her lungs were clear yay! He did put her on another antibiotic to help clear up a sinus infection. This is a 14 day treatment, luckily she takes it like a trooper when I hide it in her favorite yogurt. Later that morning she had her consult with the eye doctor. He confirmed that her ducts were clogged and it would take a small proceedure to clear them out. However we have to wait until she is off meds for 6 weeks before they will do the proceedure so that gives us a longer window to see if they will clear on their own before she has to go back.

Well, I need to head off, I just saw a lil girl streak past me squealing bath bath bath..... I think she is trying to tell me something lol.

Happy New Year!
