Ice Skating

This morning we went to Grandma Claire and Papa Tractor's house to go ice skating on the pond across the road from them. The boys had a blast skating, and playing hockey. Jake's dream came true, he finally got a REAL hockey stick, I think if he had his way he would sleep with it tonight. The whole way home Jake kept telling us Papa Tractor gave me a hockey stick and I get to keep it FOREVER. Emily wasn't too impressed with being out in the cold. Even a ride around the field in the sled didn't cheer her up, so we headed inside and played by the wood stove and that perked her right up! Jake can't wait for Tuesday when he gets to go play hockey again!
