Crazy Busy week

What a crazy busy week this has been! Although I can't complain because we actually got a lot accomplished. The boys had VBS at school this week, so Emily and I had a week for just us girls, which sadly meant running errands and cleaning. It's crazy how much easier it is to run errands and get things accomplished with only one kid along versus three!

Yesterday the kids went to a birthday party after VBS and then we had our orientation meeting for hosting. We learned a lot, and found out that our student could be here as soon as three weeks! Lots to do before then to get her room all ready!

Then today our first of three loads arrived of firewood for the winter. I am loving this weather and winter is the last thing I want to be thinking about right now. Luckily we got wood that is already split this year, so no more splitting 6 cords by hand for us! This afternoon the boys have been busy helping daddy stack the firewood before the next load arrives in a few days.
