Introducing Scout

Two weeks before Thanksgiving, we added a new member to our family. A 9 week old Beagle puppy which the kids named Scout. It was quite the process of coming up with a name as each kiddo had their heart set on a different one, but finally we all agreed that Scout would be his name.

He's a pretty mellow chunky puppy. His nick name before we got him was chunkers, which seems to fit him quite well. We are working hard on getting him fully house trained. He's getting close with only a few accidents here and there. The kids love to take him for walks and are already teaching him to sit and give.

One of the boys' classmates also has a puppy from the same litter, so every once in awhile we get the kids and puppies together for a playdate, which is quite fun to watch.
