Ducklings!

The other day Jake started hinting that he wanted to show ducks for 4-h instead of his chickens. He also decided that he would pay for the ducks himself and they would be his responsibility! So after a bit of talking we decided to allow him to get 2 ducklings. What's two more in the coop, we already have 22 chickens! Oy!

Well, when we got to Tractor Supply the lady informed us that the minimum purchase was SIX! Before I could say anything Jake proclaimed "Good thing I brought extra cash!" D'oh!
So he proudly picked out his six pekin ducklings, and then carried them carefully through the store to the registers. Stopping to tell everyone we passed that he was buying ducklings! It was sooo cute!
