this past week

This past week has been super busy for us. Last weekend the guys put the finishing touches on the floor in the dining room. On Thursday& Friday we did an overnight camping trip at Maidstone State Park with some of my students. We stayed in two leantos and had a blast. Josh came along for the adventure and fit right in. He says his favorite parts were the marshmallows, fishing, and swimming in that order. LOL. Yesterday we went to the homecoming days parade in downtown and got soaking wet because it started to pour before the parade finished. Both boys loved getting all the candy that was thrown at them. We sat in a spot in an area with no other kids so they got all the loot to themselves. Today we are catching up on cleaning, then off to a friends new house for dinner and making ice cream!
