Snowshoeing!

Last night we got yet another decent amount of snow (probably around 4"). So this morning Josh and Patty ventured into town to the sporting goods store and found a pair of Tubbs Snowshoes for Josh. We all were excited to head out and try them out. So we headed up to the Quarry and tried our shoes out on the bike trail and then ventured into the forest.
Josh was a natural! He only fell a few times, the last few times were on purpose because he thought it was fun. By the end of the walk he had figured out he could run in his shoes and that was great until his legs started to get tired.
It was a great day to be outside (temps in the mid 30s and sun shining!) We are hoping the weather will be nice so we can go out and explore again tomorrow and maybe even get in a lil sledding as well!
