We survived the heat wave, although I think just barely! It made for a long 4 days with temps in the upper 90s here. One day, Josh told me he didn't want to play outside anymore because it was tooo hot!
Luckily on Monday we convinced brian to put in the a/c upstairs so we could get a little relief from the heat.
Yesterday afternoon, we had a big storm blow through, and the boys and I braved the wind, thunder and lightning and sat under the awning and watched the storm. It was fun, but jake says a little scary. Right after the storm the temp dropped 20 degrees!! We were sooo happy we jumped in the puddles for quite awhile, but then less than an hour later the temps jumped back up to the 80s which wasn't fair!
Today its much cooler, and we are all A LOT happier!
