Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

Emily Update..

We made yet another weekly follow up pediatrician visit this morning. This was our 8th trip for emily's cough in a month. She is still holding onto her cough and her wheezing hasn't improved. On the good side she gained a whole pound and then some, she is now up to 14 pounds 11 ounces! It's gotta be all those yummy foods she is inhaling lately! On a side note she is now rolling in both directions tummy to back, and back to tummy can can roll herself to the other side of the room (I am soo not ready for this!) anyways.....
Our pediatrician has decided to send us up to Burlington to see a pulmonologist (resp. doctor), as everything he could think of to try she hasn't responded to. Her lungs are clear so no pneumonia, she isn't showing the classic rsv symptoms other than the cough, and she didn't respond to the steroids or the nebulizer so that rules out asthma. I am not sure when the appointment in burlington is yet, our pedi is going to call up there and make the appointments and then give us a call.
So there's a quick update, gotta go help josh with his homework!
ughhhhhhhh Just as I was just about to hit publish for this update, my little darling dear daughter who is laying on the floor so nicely playing decides this moment is a perfect time to start saying LOUDLY and clearly Da Da Da Da *sigh*
