This past week

Sorry for the lack of posts last week. We were busy but nothing really exciting worth writing about. The weather was gorgeous, so we spent a lot of time outside. We all have been dealing with head colds this week. On Wednesday afternoon I picked up some cough syrup for Jake, and that afternoon he managed to get the bottle open on his own and drink half the bottle! This prompted a call to poison control. Luckily he didn't have to go to the er to get some charcol. But we did get to witness what a drunk 2 year old looks like. After a few hours he was walking into things, slurring his words, and super glassy eyed. By morning he was all better, with no side effects. Thank goodness! OnFriday Josh's class had a field trip to a local farm and sugar house, in which daddy went along with. On Saturday the boys visited "daddy's barber shop". Because of daddy's lack of skill in the hair cut department they wound up with buzz cuts. I cannot say I was suprised. Josh was the least thrilled with it. On Sunday we took the boys over to Mt. Philo state park and hiked the mountain. It was great to be outside (even if it was a bit chilly) and do some hiking. We definetly could tell we weren't in the best of shape on the way up.
