Happy Spring!

Spring has finally arrived, and the snow has begun to melt! Swim lessons are finally over, and last week baseball season has begun! Jake is playing on a minor league team, and Emily has started T-ball. Josh is staying busy with 4-H and taking care of his flock of chickens.

Another Busy Week

This past week was another fun and adventurous one for us. The weather started to actually resemble SPRING, so we spent a lot of time outside enjoying every last minute of it.

On Tuesday the kiddos and I went to the state forest to go hiking and to see if we could find some frog eggs for Josh's class. We had a lot of fun hiking the trail and watching the salamanders swim in the pond. Right before we left we discovered a small clump of eggs, so we snatched those up. It will be fun for Josh's class to watch them hatch and grow, as I am not sure whether or not they are frog or salamander eggs. The pond was still pretty frozen and we didn't hear any peepers which make me think they are salamander eggs, so we will have to wait and see.

On Friday the boys had some friends over for a play date, and they spent all day outside playing. It was soo nice to be outside soaking in the sun. Then today we were back at the pool for swim lessons, then decided to head up to Burlington for the afternoon since it was cold and rainy out. The science museum was having its annual mud fest so we took the boys there to play in the mud.
Emily goes back to the pediatrician on Monday for a follow up from our pulmonologist appointment. She still has her cough, the past few days it has actually sounded a bit worse if that is even possible.
