Emily had her 6 month well child check this morning. She weighed in at a little over 16 pounds which put her in the 60% for weight (down a bit from last time), but she is 27" tall which is the 90%. So she is going to be tall and skinny just like her mama. Our pedi was concerned that her eyes still are goopy, she is still a tad bit wheezy and he saw some fluid in her left ear. He thinks that the first round of antibiotics didn't completely kick the bug she has had so we are going to start another round tomorrow morning. He did a culture of her eye goop and we should have the results of that on Friday. She also wound up getting 3 shots and the last dose of the nasty oral vaccine, and was a trooper. It is never fun to get shots :( So today we are having some extra mommy cuddles to help her feel better.Emily 6 month appointment

aww both of our girls had their check up and shots this morning! I cant believe how close Tegan and Emily are in weight and height! Tegan was exactly 16lbs and 16.5inches. They are getting so big! I hope this next round of antibiotics kicks that bug out for good!
what a big girl.. I think she looks a little more like Josh in this picture.
