Hockey season comes to an end

The end to another long hockey season is this week. This year Jake played on the travel mites team for Montpelier, and travel they did. He had practices two nights a week, and then games every Saturday and Sunday all over the state.Some morning's he and Brian would have to get up at 5 and be on the road by 5:30-6am to make it to the rink on time for the game.  Jake's skills grew greatly this year, and he has gotten much faster at skating. For a few games he even tried to play goalie, but quickly realized that's too "boring" and he was back on the ice skating on offense again.
